Echosys Advisory advises Energie Circulaire (Enertime Group) for the financial closing of the Verallia project with Crédit Agricole Transitions & Energies (UNIFERGIE)

January 15, 2024

Thanks to ENERTIME SA for its renewed confidence and to CREDIT AGRICOLE TRANSITIONS & ENERGIES – UNIFERGIE for its commitment to ENERTIME through a long-term loan.

CREDIT AGRIGOLE – UNIFERGIE, an expert in the financing of energy and territories and a committed player in sustainable development for over 30 years, has financed the first project to install an organic Rankine cycle (“ORC”) system supported by ENERGIE CIRCULAIRE, ENERTIME‘s energy services subsidiary (ESCO). The ORC will be installed for VERALLIA, the world’s third-largest producer of glass packaging for drinks and food products, at its Lagnieu plant in the Ain region, with the support of the French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME) and will enable the recovery of 1 MW of electrical waste heat.

This long-term debt project financing covers around 60% of the project’s investment costs.

ENERGIE CIRCULAIRE is also supported by CLIMATE INFRASTRUCTURE FUND (article 9 SFDR), a fund managed by DEMETER, a European player in venture capital, development capital and investment in infrastructure for the energy and ecological transition, which in February 2023 joined forces with ENERTIME to accelerate the development of Energie Circulaire, with a total commitment of €21 million

ECHOSYS ADVISORY acted as financial advisor to ENERTIME and ENERGIE CIRCULAIRE for this transaction.
